Fresh Step Clean Paws Cat Litter, Low-Tracking Clumping Litter With Febreze and Gain, 22.5 lbs

We have multiple cats due to people dropping them off in our rural area and leaving them to fend on their own. It seems that there is always room for one more of the little dears in our family. With that said, we tried several different kitty litter brands and Fresh Step, Clean Paws is the only one that stood out based on 'non-tracking' points. All litter is going to track, but with most brands, they create a nightmare. The clumping Tidy Cat brand was horrible based on tracking, as was their non-clumping version. Very inexpensive as kitty litter goes, but horrible on tracking. We do purchase the Tidy Cat for the box located in our back entrance room and it's great there due to the large pads that catch the littler. However, we have another box in a different local and the Tidy Cat clumping litter created a sandpit. Seriously, it was like walking on sand. We tried the non-clumping Tidy Cat and it didn't track as much as the clumping variety - but our floor was a big, black mess due to the charcoal make-up in the litter. Once we tried the Fresh Step, tracking is minimal in that room. Still requires morning and evening clean-up. If you have 2 cats, plan on purchasing at least 2 boxes per month. Scent is fresh, pleasant but not over-powering.

I have tried several different brands and types of cat litter, but this is the only one that works for us. We have two cats, so the litter box gets stinky quick. This really helps with odors and it's extremely low dust. My favorite thing is that it really cuts back on them tracking the litter out of the box. I highly recommend!
