I brush and gargle, but every 6 months when I go to the dentist I had a lot of plaque. I couldn't understand why, she asked what mouthwash I used I said Listerine. She said stop using it, she said that has too much alcohol in it snd it dries your mouth out. Your mouth actually needs saliva to help fight plaque! I did not know this! This mouthwash is the best. Expensive, but you don't need a cupfull like peple do with the cheaper stuff. This is effective all day with just an ounce or so in the morning.
