Long range and decent config options
I was able to get WiFi to all of my 2k sq ft house, through all the walls, with just this router with no issues. Decent configuration options and a low key design.

Definitely Worth The Money
The NETGEAR Nighthawk X8 AC5000 Tri-Band WiFi Router (R8300) is really an awesome router, I was using a TP-LINK ARCHER C2600 for the last 2 years till it stopped working, so I was in need for a new router and after looking around & I have never owned a NETGEAR ROUTER before so after reading all the reviews on the NG Nighthawk X8, I decided to give it a try and so far I'm glad I did. It is much more powerful than my former TP-LINK ARCHER C2600 in performance as far as signal strength that's for sure and is easy and has more choices to set up & config the router the way you want it set up with the Netgear Genie. And I would RECOMMEND The NETGEAR Nighthawk X8 AC5000 Tri-Band WiFi Router (R8300) to all who are looking for a Power House of a Router to anyone looking for a new Replacement Router PERIOD...'¦!

Netgear Genie a must have.
I never realized how many features a good router should have until I purchased this one. The Netgear Genie is an essential component of this router. The 'Genie' is made easy to understand and operate and if you have any problems the Netgear Tech Support is very efficient. I would certainly recommend this router to family and friends. I have not found any single thing that I do not like.
