I have the 1999 Toyota,Camry,Le ,and it is old car . Mobile 1 synthetic oil seems to work very well with Japanese car. The engine performance is much better than other oil brands. This oil meets specs for all domestic cars and imports other than high end race type vehicles. This oil has a higher burning point than other synthetic oils. The five quart bottle is a great deal. Combine with a WIX oil filter and you've got the best oil change possible.
