From the moment it was installed, it's been a total game-changer in my kitchen. The sleek design adds a modern touch, and the layout is incredibly well thought out—everything has its place, and there's plenty of room for groceries, leftovers, and all the random snacks I pretend are “for guests.” The cooling performance is top-notch. Fruits and veggies stay crisp, and the freezer keeps everything perfectly frozen without any icy buildup. I especially love the built-in water and ice dispenser—it's fast, reliable, and makes staying hydrated way more fun. It's also surprisingly quiet. I barely notice it running, which is a huge plus compared to my old fridge that sounded like it was preparing for takeoff. GE really nailed it with this one. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Only had the refrigerator for 2 weeks but so far, I love it. The ice maker does a full cycle/completion within 12 hrs, and it is fairly quiet. Of course, when the ice maker is making ice, or when the compressor turns on, it is louder naturally but when the fridge is idle, it barely makes any noise at all. I do like the capacity as well as all the adjustable shelves. The freezer compartment is a little smaller than the Kenmore that I replaced, but that was by choice as I could have chosen a bigger capacity refrigerator. The lights are very bright, and the temperature seems spot on.
