Slumberjack 40F Sky Pond Mummy Sleeping Bag

I had been trying to order for a while at regular price but when it dropped to ten dollars, who could resist. if reg priced I might balk at its slightly lighter filled shell than represented, but still, it's everything advertised. I was wondering why it was rated so warmly and now I know. it's definitely not. a bag id want to use for anything more than a mild fall morning. in a sturdy well insulated tent. on a cloudy but dry night. having said that, best bag for the buck. great materials and construction. nothing flimsy about it but it comes with nice stuff sack. I bet coupled with a bivy sack this could really be what the doctor order d.

I was looking for a sleeping bag to gift to someone who is homeless. I bought 2 different types. I am very impressed with the quality of this bag. for $14 what a deal. this bag is a 40 degree F mummy style, which is great for keeping the heat in. it has a 2 way zipper as well. we are going camping this summer and these are what we are going to be buying for us.
