They're strong, relatively unobtrusive and the sofa is no longer a heave and a strain to sit or get up. I recommend it to anyone who has knee problems and has to shove themselves off the couch and experience pain while doing so. Now, couch is high enough that getting up is no problem. Our couch has four feet in front and two feet in rear. I recommend sliding the risers on the corners first and then doing the two front middle feet. It's easy, depending on the sofa's weight. Might be more difficult if it's really heavy, but the ends are "lighter" than trying to raise the entire front or back. Middle feet no problem. These risers can carry a LOT of weight.

These were perfect for me....my dogs safe place is under the bed ..... She is getting older and goes under the bed with ease and I can get all the dog toys out BTW I have a king bed and was worried about it sliding. It is super non slide . The legs of my bed sunk in to the top of the product. Very non worry of it falling. Very Happy.
