Bought this sled for great grandson and he loved it we had a great time using it. Just the right size for him and he slid nicely through the snow. Great winter fun!!!

Great sturdy dled for a small child.

I love the aerodynamic shape of this sled. This is a really great sled for a toddler or small child. My grand daughter is begging the sky to give her snow so we can use it. The sled has the perfect slant to keep small feet on the treads while a curved seat keeps them slightly elevated to cushion a child from any hard bumps to the tail bone. It is very very sturdy unlike the many cheap sleds that flex and bed this is very solid made. The slippery sled is Coated with Slippery Racer exclusive ice vex cold-resistant treatment which should make it a great ride. We also feel that the pull cord will be great to take walks around the yard with the smaller baby. This is a much nicer sled than any I have seen in years, not since the old school days. It appears a good size for a preschooler or small elementary school child and it is too small for bigger kids unless their knees are pushed up. It has Dimensions of 30" (L) x 15" (w) x 5.25" (H) I expect this to last for many years. Having said that, I will comment that the handles act as steering or brakes as well. I'm not sure about that design. I'm afraid that when the child tries to hold on they will be braking instead of just having a handle. We are hoping that it was thought out better than that. I am certain that we will have a lot of fun with this slide and can't wait to see how well the turning handles work. Now we just wait for snow.

For kids 5 and under

I was hoping this sled would be big enough for an adult to use... it is definitely not! We haven't been able to field test it since we haven't had a good enough snowfall but it looks to be well made. It required some simple assembly: attaching the pull rope, and attaching the handles with built-in brakes. The handles do not seem to be attached very well. After some use it seems like they could fall off/out easily. I like the idea that by pulling up on the handles it forces a part underneath the sled to dig into the snow, effectively slowing you down, so you don't have to put your hands down in the snow. I'm just not sure if a child under four would be able to grasp that concept.
