Jimmy Webb takes on piano classics on his album SlipCover. Using his own instrumental piano arrangements, Webb shows off the complex melodies that he says will quot;make you hear these musicians more as composers, than rock stars and songwriters.quot; His piano playing, in what he calls quot;this minimalist setting,quot; weaves together disparate influences.
