Slim Jim Fire Fries Inferno Flavored Potato Snacks, 2.75 oz.

You've heard of Slim Jim, so you must like so meat snacks in your mouth. I know I do and when I found these on store shelves, I just had to try them. I LOVE spicy snacks and the bold lettering on the packaging called my name. FIRE FRIES. How hot could they be? These snacks unlike others I've tried are not afraid to turn up the heat. They aren't insanely hot, but they remain spicy enough to be enjoyable. The fries were like shoestring style fries. Thin, short and slender. Perfect for lots of surface area for the seasoning to stick. Not so good for regular size hands that made them harder to grab than preferred. If you've tasted other fry snacks, these will be familiar in texture. Flavor wise, they are very savory. The sticks have a good blend of seasonings that make the snacks spicy, but also nice and salty. They don't have a flavor that is quite like any other mainstream spicy snack, but they do share similarities. The only improvement I would like to see is for Slim Jim to drop the fake meat flavor from these snacks. They are very delicious, but the artificial taste of meat on spicy fry snacks is distracting. Yes, I get it. They are Slim Jims, but do they really need to taste like meat? I think not. An otherwise excellent product, brought down by this one decision. Would I buy again? Absolutely. No questions asked, take my money right now!
