I doubted this would help my situation. My cat started peeing where a blanket landed on a high pile rug. Over 2-3 months the blanket and carpet got saturated, and the smell was noticeable and constant. My brother recommended this product to our other brother for his puppy, and they both thought it worked. Because it's a high pile carpet it's hard to get covered well, so I sprayed the whole thing 2 different times in a week to make sure I got it all. The smell in the room disappeared! I just put my nose to the carpet, and there are some spots that I hit again, but I'm happy with the results. The only problem I had is the spray bottle broke after a few moments, but I had to spray a lot so it should be fine for less extreme cases, and I just moved the product to a cheap bottle from the store.
