I love the metallic!
What great pens to use for black paper! It's also good for labeling and fun doodling. But my favorite use of it so far has been to write in my black paper journal. I have a few pen pals as well and I like decorating my letters with fun little Doodles for them. It also makes acute wage decorate the envelopes that I like making for my pen pals as well. I like how they fit in my hands and how vibrant the colors are. They also write so smoothly. I will definitely be buying some more of these!

These are by far the best pens I ever used. the black ink is nice and dark and the blue is very dark too which I have been looking for for a long time a dark blue ink, finally found it. bought several packs so I don't ever run short, highly recommend these.

Last year I discovered the Zebra line of pens. I tried numerous models and now use the Zebra G-750 gel. It glides smoothly across the paper and the gel dries instantly. The G-750 is is the best gel pen out there. It's a pleasure to use. I'm kind of an stationary buff, I've used pens costing three times as much. They turned out to be a disappointment. Give the Zebra line of pens a try, you'll be glad that you did.
