LG 3.1.1 ch. Bluetooth Sound Bar with Dolby Atmos - S70TY

I recently purchased a new lg tv and was blown away with the picture. As with most modern tvs the sound is usually lacking so decided to trust lg with upgrading the sound with this sound bar. I have used the soundbar for varying things from music on my phone, gaming, films and general tv including football. The set up was easy enough but I believe I had an advantage having read some tips stating to download the lg soundbar app to help with set up. With the app you can control a huge array of things from choosing the input to customising the equaliser. I love the fact that you can easily set the sound delay from the app to help match picture and sound which I've always had an issue with while using a variety of apps and devices. The base from the sound bar is very good and I find that the sound is of great depth and quality. Voices are clear and music immersive. Films are incredible with the dolby atmos which I had never experienced before until now. The subwoofer gives a great base as well and adds to the experiance. I have had an issue with the auto on with the sound bar which is meant to come on with the tv and has been a bit hit and miss and doesn't always power the sound bar on when the tv is turned on. I've also had an issue with the subwoofer giving out a sort of interference noise. I am in contact with lg and am hoping to get the issue sorted

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The LG soundbar and subwoofer absolutely do the trick when you want to be immersed in a scene. I wouldn't expect the speaker to be so immersive due to its sleek, modern design, but with this design, it adds a sense of luxury to your home theater. But, like I was saying before, its performance is phenomenal. The speakers are so powerful when catching little or heavy sound cues, from silent steps to big explosions, everything is absolutely immersive. This is due to the Dolby Atmos featured in the device and DTS:X, giving it that power. It's almost as if you're in a three-dimensional soundstage hitting you from every angle. But that's not all; along with the speakers comes the Wireless Subwoofer, and it gives it a deep bass, catching key details such as rumbles and beats. Overall, the setup for the speakers was easy, having to only set two wires in for the soundbar and the subwoofer being wireless and connectable through Bluetooth. I would highly recommend the speakers if you wanted to have a crazy movie night or just wanting to be immersed overall.
