Mounting and suction cup maintenance: 1) Thoroughly clean your window, making sure the window is completely dry and free from residue. 2) Clean the suction cups with a mild detergent and rinse thoroughly. Dry suction cups completely. 3) Regularly clean your window and suction cups, monthly is recommended. HELPFUL HINT: Warm suction cups are easier to mount than cold. Try soaking the suction cups in hot water or leave them in the sun for a few minutes to help warm!
Fabric Care Instructions
Wipe frame with damp cloth. Vacuum excess cardboard from scratcher as needed.

Our second one
We got one of these window hammocks first before my cats ever even came home in November 2022. That one has been completely solid and never fallen and my cat loved it so much that we decided to get 2 more for more windows. I think more of his life is spent in a K&H window hammock than not in a window hammock.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have large windows looking out onto my roof deck, to which I attached a suction-cup bird feeder (well before I got kitty). This ledge is a perfect way for her to get up close to the birds. I had to take out the inside window screen to affix it (meaning I can no longer open that window), but I decided to do that anyway, because it seemed cruel to expect her not to try to climb or paw at the window screen if there were birds right on the other side. So far, it's held up well, with no issues when she jumps onto it from a distance of about a foot. My kitty is small (4.5 pounds), so I guess it remains to be seen if this holds true as she grows. A great (partial) alternative to large cat trees for those of us in apartments/condos, at an attractive price point.
