This is a great sturdy metal stand for your large monitor. Built with solid components that fit together perfectly, it replaces the factory stand that comes with your monitor with ease. Setup was easy and took about 10 minutes. All the tools required were included (to install the new mount, make sure you have tools to remove the old stand beforehand) the instructions easy to follow. The base is solid flat metal and generously wide and deep, allowing for a very high positioning should you need it with full stability. Motion of the monitor is smooth and takes a bit of effort, but stays where you put it.
