I got this Retrospect set for my guest bathroom and it never flushes right. Worst thing in the world for the Guest room! I have to leave a note on the top of the toilet instructing people to dump in a tall glass of water while flushing to get it to go down. We have replace the internal mechanism on several occasions and done all kinds of adjustments to no avail. In addition, the beautiful matching pedestal sink developed fine cracks in the glaze. I'm very disappointed, it was between this set & another brand's similar set and this one was the most elegant and space saving sink & toilet, now I question my choices. There weren't many reviews in 2005 or I would have reconsidered. My other American Standard basic right height, elongated bowl $200 toilet in the back bedroom works fine.

Flapper leaks after licensed plumber installation. Took me forever to find a replacement part. Now waiting for the plumber to come. You can't replace the flapper you have to remove the tank and replace the entire unit. I am very frustrated with this product. I'm sure the plumber will charge me for the repair of a brand new product.
