I purchased this soup mug for my elderly father. I thought it would be easier to handle and be less messy. He is able to drink the liquids and spoon the contents with less mess. I like that it is easy to clean and with the cover is less likely to cause a spill in the microwave. A vent on top of the lid clicks into place easily for venting in the microwave. Some color choices for this product would be nice. I would not recommend purchasing for delivery as mine was used and shelved. I know this because I could tell the stickers were removed and replaced, there was a small piece of food residue inside the cup and the vent had a red (like tomato sauce would stain plastic) stain around the vent hole. I did not have the energy to deal with a return, but it irks me to buy a used item. IMO Any item used to this level should not be shelved and sold for full price. This was over $5, which I think is a tad too high for what it is, but it's better than a bowl for Dad right now.

Bought it for my mother in law. She has arthritis real bad and is constantly dropping cups and breaking them. We have been looking for something like this for her but haven't been able to find anything. She loves the cups and has been using them constantly.
