I didn't have a strainer/stopper in my bathroom sink. So, when I saw this advertised on TV, I thought this sounded good. So far it has done it;s job and caught a few hairs lol. A ring that I have worn on my right thumb for 17 years, disappeared 2 days befor buying the Shroom. I think it went down the drain while washing my hands. I wish I had bought this sooner. It looks good in my bathroom sink too. Just a little pricey is my only negative.

I bought some other brand first, which broke and didn't catch anything. This thing is wonderful. It catches hair and has already saved me from jewelry mishap a couple times ( why do I never learn?)!! Love it! Need to get one for the shower too! If you frequently need to stop up the sink, you might want something else. I imagine the plastic grip edge on this will wear out with time.
