Sims 4

I bought this for my oldest daughter who is disabled. She loves it. She plays it every day and now wants the expansion packs.. This is a very good game for those who don't get out much and are bored all the time.. You can build houses, make friends and families do what ever the possibilities are endless.. The price was really good for a new game. I Highly recommend

Love the Sims!

I love The Sims games! This one is a little bit different than the previous Sims games and there's more variety of things in the game. A downside is that it seems like Sim's needs get low quicker than in the Sims 3. It could be from the new bar style, but it seems like you have to fulfill their needs more often than usual.

Better than previous Sims base games

To be honest, I love this game. For those of you new to The Sims franchise, it can be summed up as simply a good virtual life simulation game. For old fans, I'll go into more detail: *Good for rotational-style play *Much faster loading screens than The Sims 3 *The things that are missing from base game (ghosts, pools, many careers) are being added FOR FREE in future patches (ghosts are already added - pools and careers are confirmed for November's patch and December's patch; the only thing not confirmed to be added that's missing is the toddler life stage, and toddlers were annoying anyway) *Babies are basically attached to their cribs, but there are many more social interactions you can do with them. *Moods add a level of realism to the game - I like it way better than just the moodlets of TS3 (moodlets contribute to moods in this game) *It is NOT open world like TS3 was, it's more like TS2 in that aspect (I personally rarely wanted to leave the house in TS3 anyway). However, this is a huge contributor to what makes the loading screens so near-instant. It's also way less laggy than TS3 was in game. *Sims can look way more different than each other. They can actually look like different races. There's a bit of a learning curve with making adjustments in CAS (create-a-sim), but it really pays off if you like to have more variety in Sim appearances in your game. I've attached pictures of my first two Sims showcasing this. Namin is Korean, and Jynette is black. You can also change body types a lot, but I usually prefer to make thin-to-average-sized girls still. *Multi-tasking is a nice little convenience. It's usually best for talking to other Sims while doing other things (such as cooking or painting), but there are some other uses as well. My picture of Namin shows her having two drinks at once. *Ghosts are the color of their current emotion and have different abilities depending on how they died. I have not yet tested whether there are ghost babies in TS4. *There are better buy and build-mode tools as well. *I recommend downloading a faster gardening mod. You can get one from modthesims. *There's too much other good stuff in this game to go on about, you can buy it and discover for yourself, or find a multitude of other information about it online. I was nervous about buying the game when I did, because I heard negative things about it (mostly people complaining that it's not open-world), but once I played it, I loved it way more than I loved TS2 even, and that was my first Sims game. I hope this review was helpful to you. Good luck with your buying decision, and happy simming! :)
