A very capable action camera

The camera works very well. I was most interested in the image stabilization and the 'rock steady' stabilization option works very well. I had to download the user manual from their website since there was no printed manual included. You have to have an Android or iOS cell phone because DJI requires that the camera be activated and that can only be done with their cell phone app 'DJI Mimo App'. After setting up a DJI user account that required giving them my email address I was able to connect the phone to the camera and activate it. This process activated the warranty and it also installed a firmware update that fixed some issues that I saw mentioned in some early YouTube reviews. Be sure the phone and camera are charged up before starting this.

Great little toy, but limited.

Awesome little camera comparable to GoPro Hero 8. The GoPro has a few more bells and whistles for controlling video quality in-camera, but if you want that kind of control, and strapping it to your head is not a priority, you should probably stick with full size camcorders. These small action cameras are really just for goofing around with on your bike or other similar action scenes, and not for trying to film a block-buster type movie, although with a little effort, you probably could if you wanted to.
