Greenies Feline Smartbites Tuna Flavor Healthy Indoor Cat Treats, 4.6 oz Pack

This is not a first-hand review of GREENIES because I am vegetarian. And also not a cat. But I am controlled by a lovely Tuxedo named Cupcake, which was her name when we met at the rescue where she was residing about 3 yrs ago. She was used to primarily wet food (no brand preference) and GREENIES. I was not informed of her obsessive addiction to them but this trait soon became evident. She was very polite on the ride home in a cat carrier and did not object to a short stop at the pet supply shoppe. After purchasing several brands of food and small pouch of treats, the journey continued. Arriving home she was introduced to hubby and eagerly went to greet him. We took her on a tour of our small home - adequate windows with outside squirrels, litter box, food %26 water bowls, beds - and finally left her to explore. Shortly thereafter a strange sound came from the living room and we found her eagerly attacking the pouch of GREENIES. No entry was made into the pouch but her enthusiasm for the contents was such that a glass jar was located to secure them. This was but a small insight into her obsession and a harbinger of her future proclivities. She quickly learned that looking cute, meowing softly and reaching out her right paw was a behavior that was a sign for her humans to dispense 4 or 5 little fishies. She sent female human to purchase more, and human returned with large, heavy duty plastic containers full of thousands of fishies. Female human then put the GREENIES on a convenient shelf, not realizing that Cupcake was also able to easily reach them. Very soon after placement a loudish sound came from the kitchen and humans discovered that when GREENIES containers are dropped onto the floor, the lid pops off and contents scatter. Never wanting to place blame on such an esteemed feline, we assumed that this was somehow our fault and as Cupcake was greedily consuming little fishies, they were returned to the container and put further back on the shelf. Several weeks later that exact sound was heard again and Cupcake was found indulging. A high cabinet with a door was the GREENIES new home. Cupcake has since learned how to open this type of door but not when located over the sink. The true nature of her addiction was thusly discovered. As time has passed we humans have learned to keep 1 large container of 4 different flavors on hand in case of emergencies. About 1 GREENIES per month is consumed and it was a great day when humans discovered that a monthly subscription would keep the supply restocked. Upon orders from Cupcake.

My 10 year old girl Gypsy, really loves these tuna flavored Greenies, she gets them as a treat every day. She never has bad breath and I really think it's because of these Greenies Smartbites. These are smaller than the other Greenies. I toss them up in the air and she "catches" them.
