Perfect For My 13 Year Old Pup

This is exactly what we needed for our 13 y/o pup that is always cold. She's just 9 lbs and even though she wears sweaters, she still gets cold. We bought this and put it in her spot on the couch and she LOVES it. It does give off a lot of heat after a while so we take her sweater off if she's on it. She sleeps better on it because it seems to help her soreness from medical issues as well. Our other dog and cats love it as well. When the pup isn't on it, usually another animal is because it's so cozy. The size of the mat is perfect for her size. She's a 9 lb terrier mix for reference. When she's real cold she'll sleep completely on it and if she gets warm she'll only put half her body on it. The only con: It doesn't seem to shut completely off. It's supposed to only heat up with weight on but we've noticed the bottom will stay pretty warm even without any weight on it.
