Great and realistic for the price

Very pleased. It dose make a soft clicking sound when flames are on but nothing to bothersome. Of course when heat is on you can hear the fan running. It produces good heat. I really like the fact that the logs and flames are fairly realistic looking and can be changed from a full flame all the way down to low embers. I also like the fact it has a fairly realistic looking brick background. It is the best electric fireplace insert I have had for this price.

Classic Ambience.

This is one of the best electric fireplaces I've ever seen! My husband and I are picky because we REALLY wanted a gas unvented unit but I didn't feel comfortable with that at the end of the day. This unit is much safer, still creates plenty of heat and even though it'll never be mistaken for a real fire it gives great ambience! Not to mention is was one of the most affordable units for the heating power. My one tiny complaint I wanted the crackling fire sound but I bought a separate sound machine for that and actually kinda hate it.
