  • Painter's Mate Green Painters Tape is used for masking of painted surfaces, wood and metal and also to hold plastic or paper drop cloths.
  • Green Painters Tape removes cleanly from painted wood, glass, painted sheetrock, and metals for up to 8 days. UV resistant, flexible and conformable with high shear strength for a secure hold. Resists paint bleed-through. Not for use in lacquer applications or on anodized aluminum.
  • Carrier/Backing: crepe paper. Adhesive: rubber-based.
  • Thickness: 4.6 mils (carrier, adhesive). Adhesion: 30 ounces per inch (to stainless steel test panel). Adhesion to Backing: 8 ounces per inch.
  • Tensile Strength: 21 pounds per inch (longitudinal). Service/Operating Temperature: 50F to 150F. Elongation: 10%. Core: 3-inch diameter.

The picture is misleading as it shows double wide tape. This is like a thin roll of masking tape. It is brighter than the green in the picture as well. My measurements say .7 inches x 60 yds. The description say .75 x 180 feet. Wrong roll was sent??
