Mounting and suction cup maintenance: 1) Thoroughly clean your window, making sure the window is completely dry and free from residue. 2) Clean the suction cups with a mild detergent and rinse thoroughly. Dry suction cups completely. 3) Regularly clean your window and suction cups, monthly is recommended. HELPFUL HINT: Warm suction cups are easier to mount than cold. Try soaking the suction cups in hot water or leave them in the sun for a few minutes to help warm!
Fabric Care Instructions
Spot clean pod shell only. Amazin' Kitty Pad only can be machine washed. Mild detergents, no bleach. Cold water, gentle cycle. Air or line dry, or tumble dry on lowest setting. Dry completely before use.

They like it for perching and watching, and it certainly seems to discourage multiple cats piling in at once, but I think the more open window bed seems more comfortable and utilized by my clowder.
