A little short of a plug & play replacement
Attractive lamp, but the center threaded spindle is too short for just replacing my previous fixture. You cannot attach the bell shaped center piece and still be able to screw in the end cap to the spindle no matter how much you try and adjust it. I think the design assumes the bracket has to mount on the very surface of the ceiling and not be recessed at all. I'm going to the hardware store to see if I can get a longer threaded spindle to try and make it work. The design needs to be flexible enough to accommodate physical variations of existing installations without user modifications.
