I have been ordering this bird seed for two or three years and the reason is that the birds love it and there aren't any weed seeds to worry about. No need to worry about weed seeds that may come with this mixture. I live in the southwest high desert and we have finches, quails, sparrows, robins, and several more.

Even though I live in the Northeast region the birds here eat the seed anyway. For the price of this Southwest seed I wanted to give it a go with my birds and happy I did. The basic seed content is the same as my region. The bag was nice to handle and left by my door and I did not see much corn in it.
