Great "third hand"; Speeds and makes siding easy
Awesome little devices to make large, one man DIY siding projects possible! Perfect aligning, plenty of adjustments possible too. I measured, cut several pieces of siding at a time, then applied the siding with the aid of these gauges in 2 1/2 full days time. (My project involved 120 pieces LP 7/16", 4' up to full 16' pieces, inside/outside corners, plus 135 deg corners too.) Once you have your first course set, you'll likely never go out of alignment (subject to the siding variance board to board, of course). Highly recommend for 7/16" LP (haven't tried with similar thickness cedar or other siding, but likely would work too).
