Hillsdale Furniture Morris Metal Twin Daybed with Trundle, Magnesium Pewter

First off, let me say that I'm very happy with the purchase of the bed itself. The quality was just as expected; Only warning is we got a box spring set, and it puts the matress up so high that you can't really see the back railing. This takes away from the look of the daybed, but it was easy to assemble and overall is still an attractive frame. I could not give the bed 5 stars only because of the nightmare I had in the shipping process!! This isn't out of Walmart itself, but an outside company. Instead of a mailing service, like UPS, they use a freight company. The big rig truck was too large to get into my subdivision, so I had to meet them elsewhere (good thing I had a truck of my own). The first time all the pieces were bent, so I had to go through the entire process again. I ended up having a problem with the delivery driver the second time around. He called and wanted to post-pone our meeting until later in the day. I okayed it only to wait around by the phone all afternoon. I finally called him back and he hung up on me!! So instead I called customer service and discovered he had listed me as "no show" for the pickup. I expressed my desperation (and irritation) to customer service, and they arranged it so that I could drive down to the shipper's warehouse and pick the bed up there. If I had known I could do that, I wouldn't have wasted my time waiting for a useless delivery driver. He was, by the way, the same one who delivered the BENT bed frame the first time. Hmmmmmm.....??? Of course, all of this happened in my area. You might have better luck where you are at. I'm just glad that shipping was free because I would have hated to think that I paid for this hassle!! Bed: 5 Stars Seller (CNN? not Walmart): 4 stars for inconveniet shipping processes. Easy customer service when item arrived bent. Shipper (Averitt): 2 star: They redeemed themselves by having nice, helpful employess in their customer service department and the actual shipping depot...I'd give them all 5 stars. But the delievery driver gets ZERO!!!
