Do you know how dehumidifiers work?

The recommended ambient operating temperature is between 5°C (41°F) and 35°C (95°F).

The warm and humid air comes into Shinco home dehumidifier through the grill on the back of the unit, then moves over the cold coil, which condenses water out of the air. The water collects on the pipes and drips down into the bucket for later removal. The dry air is reheated and is blown out the top of the unit and back into the room by the compressor.

Before using

Keep Shinco dehumidifier standing upright for 24hours before plugging it in.

Clean the bucket

Clean the bucket with potable water every two weeks to avoid scale breeding bacteria.

Clean the air filter

Clean the filter with water at least once every 30 days in order to maintain efficiency, and make sure the filter is completely dry before reinstalling.

Storing the dehumidifier

Make the dehumidifier works under inside dring mode. Then cover the dehumidifier with a plastic bag after cleaning the main dehumidifier, bucket and air filter, and store it upright in a dry, well-ventilated place.
