The Shin Splints Compression Wrap is designed to alleviate symptoms of Shin Splints (both tibial stress syndrome and anterior shin splints). Directional wrap applies gentle pressure on soft tissue next to the tibia (shin bone), helping prevent additional tearing of the soft tissue away from the tibia. Contoured EVA foam applies targeted, effective compression. Compression reduces additional damage, while alleviating pain and enhancing the healing process.

This is exactly what I was looking for. I love the extra support pad. I can line up my place of hurt and it puts just enough pressure on the area. I wear mine tight because I have a fracture I have damaged 3 extra times now. I would suggest cutting the heal and toe off a tube sock and putting that on first than the brace.
