Pennington One Step Complete Dense Shade Patch & Repair Grass Seed Mix, Partial to Full Shade, 10 lb

I used it on 3 rather large spots in my front yard. Two beside my driveway(where btw, grass has never grown due to constant shade) and one in my front yard where my city had to dig a large hole for gas line maintenance. Obviously, it took a few bags for this much coverage. I simply followed the instructions: 1. Prepare the area. 2. Lay out the seed. 3. Water twice daily. I saw small blades coming up after 7 days. Then a nice covering of grass in 14 days. I continued to water twice daily for a full month and it came in beautifully, thick and green. I am very pleased with this result and will continue to water now and again to ensure it doesn't die away. My before and after pics were taken 1 month apart(early April - early May).... Love this product! Just follow the instructions.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The One Step Complete Dense Shade Patch and Repair Grass Seed Mix worked great to fix bare spots in my yard. I have always found it hard to repair the shade spots in my yard after my three boys are trampling around but this mix seemed to do the trick. It was easy to spread and has filled in nicely. I did not use a spreader as the spots were easily covered just spreading with my gloved hands. I would recommend this for high shade yards needing fill in coverage. I am highly satisfied with the results after using this and will definitely buy again if needed for bare spots in my yard.
