Had a horrible clog in our bathroom sink (I believe it was when my kid was washing off wet chunks of flour from his hands). I'd tried snaking it but that didn't work so resorted to draino. Poured it in and let it set but completely forgot about it and accidentally washed my hands less than the time listed on the bottle. It still had cleared the clog and I didn't have to retreat the pipes after my blunder!

This product works. It is a toxic chemical which releases strong odors so only use in a ventilated area. For it to work properly,follow directions.Pour the product in the drain, wait a half hour to one hour, Then pour two it three kettles of boiling hot water down the drain to rinse away residue. (Do not skip the rinsing with boiling water). If the clog doesn't clear, you may need to pay a place professional plumber to replace the blockage. Always wear heavy latex gloves and protective eyewear to avoid contact. Clogs are usually made of toothpaste, hand soap, and hair. So consider a separate space to style your hair and use soaps and toothpaste that leave less residue.
