Verified Purchase

Well worth the price

We received this scooter before the scheduled date for delivery. We picked it up at the local Walmart store with no charge for shipping. The scooter was easy to put together. My wife likes it alot. It is more solid feeling than her original scooter which was a three wheel. This she can go out into the yard with no problem. Climbs the ramp well into the house and goes easily over the threshold. It is a little bit bigger turning radius than the other one. So she has to back up to put it in line with some of the doorways in our house. But it is easy to operate and she feels very secure. It sets up higher than the other one and has more clearance space between it and the floor or ground. The only thing I would change and probably will in the future is the size of the battery it is a 12/20 but it is recommended by another site to use the 24/22 battery. The wheels we discovered are the nine inch which it doesn't say anywhere in the description but is handy knowledge. All in all we are very happy with our purchase and would recommend to anyone to purchase this Drive Medical Phoenix HD Scooter 4 wheel.

Changed My Life

I bought the Phoenix HD 4 at the insistence of my kids. I have a very painful back condition, and I use a rollator and a cane to get around. Even with those aides, I could only go short distances. The HD4 has changed my life. Yesterday I went to the Bronx Zoo with my kids and one of my grandsons (who is 3 and knows where I keep the HD4 key, and wants to "Go Faster Grandpa"). I used the HD4 from 11am to 5pm, all over the zoo. It was terrific!! To my amazement, I had plenty of battery left at the end of the day. It is very easy for me to break it down into the 4 basic pieces, and I can easily handle the heaviest piece by myself. It fits nicely in the back of my SUV. It also fits in the trunk of my sedan as well. I cannot tell you how much I LOVE this machine. It is top quality craftsmanship, and I look forward to getting to many of the places that I could not go to before. Thank you Drive for a wonderful product. It truly changed my life.

Phoenix Power Scooter

The scooter was very easy to assemble and since has been very easy to take apart and reassemble to carry in the car. My wife and I are very please with the quality feel of the scooter. It is much more powerful than we had hoped. She drove it off of the path that we had intended to ride on and it pull pulled through the soft dirt and over the berm to get back on the trail. Though it did get up on three wheels it did not feel that it was in danger of tipping over. We are extremely pleased with her scooter and are recommending it to anybody who will talk with us about it.
