The TPI 198TMC fan forced portable heater uses a forced air fan to distribute and circulate heat throughout your room. Great for small rooms or even garages and workshops, this forced fan heater can be used for spot heating, area heating, and freeze protection. This electric heater's compact design and handle allow you to move it from space to space. This heater comes with a 6-foot power cord, but if you need access to a further away outlet, an extension cord (not included) is recommended. The heater includes 3 heat output settings (600-watt, 900-watt, and 1500-watt) and adjustable temperature control from 60 to 110 degrees F.

Ideal for small rooms and garages, this heater is great for spot heating, area heating, and freeze protection
Corded-electric design can be moved from space to space with the carry handle

Excellent heater for our purposes.

We have used this model heater (with different names) for 25 years on the hearth after we stopped heating with the fireplace. We run one or two 15 hours per day for 5 months of the year. They last up to ten years with some fan motor oiling. The combination of radiant and convection heating is pleasant.

We have not experienced any problems with this electric heater. The fan hardly moves the air but the heating elements do radiate an adequate quantity of heat. I was not impressed with the purchase price but wanted something that was made of metal not plastic.
