This plate joiner combines power and precision with ease-of-use features for strong and accurate biscuit joints. The rack-and-pinion vertical fence system is engineered for accurate fence adjustments. It has a cast aluminum pivot fence with three positive stops at 0°, 45°, and 90°, and easy centering on 3/4" material. It has six depth settings with one-touch stops for #0, #10, and #20 and most common biscuit sizes. It has a tool-less blade cover and shaft lock for quick, easy blade changes. The non-marring rubber inserts on the shoe are engineered to prevent slippage and the cast aluminum front body increases its durability. This plate joiner has an ergonomic design and a large top-grip handle for superior control. It is equipped with Makita technology to protect against overloading, over-discharging, and overheating. This plate joiner is perfect for creating furniture, cabinet construction, and fine woodworking applications.
