Safety First

The reason for a coupler is to positively lock the trailer to the hitch ball. With every other type of coupler, it is possible to look like it is properly connected when it is not. That cannot happen with a bulldog. Unless the connection is properly made, the clamp ring cannot slide forward. This is the safest type hitch available.

the Bulldog adjustable coupler works well with the 3 or 5 position channal. Helps keep trailers level behind any viehicle you own.

It was what I expected. Should work to move this trailer with a 2 1/2 ball by a rental truck.
