These are unique marker pens... paint you have to shake up before use. I bought them to write my name in my clothes. (I'm in rehab facility. re-learning how to walk.) I never really gave them a true test yet, but I plan to soon. I hope and suspect that the "ink" will be more durable than the "permanent" marker I'm currently using.

Great pen for the price! The white ink has good coverage and shows up clearly on different colors (tried on black, purple and even a transparent sheet) so it definitely would be perfect for projects.
