I had the hydrovac before and it died for some reason. It kept having issues sucking up water even though it was filled. It was a pain in the rear. I was undecided to get another one or try this one out, I ended up getting this one second time around. Glad I went with this! It's smaller than my hydrovac was, so it does take longer to do my floors, but Its worth it. I feel the hydrovac didn't clean as well, and as stated, has technical issues. The simplicity of this is great as there's less to go wrong. I have wood all throughout my home and this makes them look wonderful. I also appreciate that I get to decided how saturated I want the floors. I like that it comes with a little handle to get rid of the excess water from the roll after you clean it so it dries faster and I also don't have to touch it with my hands like I had to with the hydrovac. I also don't notice any leaking when I "park" it in a spot for a moment to switch outlets like I did with hydrovac. Aside from being smaller, only other downside is the dirty reservoir is really small so you need to empty a lot. The battery lasts quite a bit of time which is great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product was a lot smaller then I anticipated do to the size of the box, but it works wonders! We have the majority of wood floor in our house, with lots of animals in and out. I love that it is a vacuum and hard wood cleaner in one! I highly recommend this product!
