Still a good product

This is the same seat I have used before. The best I can tell externally Mayfair has not changed the product so I expect to have the same longevity as before of several years satisfaction even though my family is a bit hard on toilet seats. Although I got it on sale, I was bummed that Walmart dropped the price another $5 the day after I received it. Oh well, I've never been lucky with the lottery either.

Do not clean with scrubbing bubbles!

This toilet seat is perfect. It's sturdy, and easy to install. I like the install setup better than other toilet seats I've bought. However, do not clean this with scrubbing bubbles. I had previously only used bathroom cleaners in spray bottles or cleaning wipes, but then decided to use some scrubbing bubbles. It made the surface permanently streaky looking and feeling, and so I'm here buying another one because I can't stand the feel and look of it. I've had this seat for I would say at least a year, and like I said it's great, just don't use scrubbing bubbles on it. Maybe spot test other things too. I don't clean with bleach, so I don't know if that's safe either.
