Warranty information
1 Year Warranty from date of purchase
By following the guidelines listed below when submitting a warranty claim, you help speed up the processing of your claim.
•Complete Marine Warranty Reimbursement Form: Prior authorization for a SeaLand Service Dealer is not required for warranty situations not exceeding $ 300.00 in total dealer cost. Warranty situations that will exceed $ 300.00 require pre-authorization from your Master Sanitation Distributor. Warranty situations that will exceed $ 1,000.00 require pre-authorization from the SeaLand Warranty Department (see Marine Warranty Pre-Authorization Form).
•Replacement Parts: Warranty replacement parts can be taken from your existing inventory or obtained from SeaLand or your area MSD.
•Labor Costs will be reimbursed providing the time submitted does not exceed a reasonable standard. Warranty labor will not be paid on SaniPottie® portable/permanent toilets, holding tank vent filters, TankWatch® level indicators, fittings, adapters or check valves
•Returned Goods: Defective parts, if requested to be returned to SeaLand, should be received within thirty (30) days to avoid being invoiced. Call Customer Service for a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) number prior to returning any defective part. Packages returned without an RGA number clearly marked on outside of carton will be refused.
•Time Restrictions: Warranty Reimbursement Form must be turned in within thirty (30) days of service completion. Reimbursement will be issued by check or credit memo within (30) days of receipt of completed Warranty Reimbursement Form.
•Improper installation or misuse: If upon evaluation by factory, product failure was due to improper installation or misuse of the SeaLand product, the dealer or owner will be billed for any warranty reimbursement previously received.
•Part Value Limitation: Under any circumstances we are limited to the replacement cost to the dealer of an entire new unit, such as a whole toilet or pump.
•Whole Unit Replacement: In most situations, replacing a part is easier and faster than replacing a whole toilet or pump. We ask that the servicing technician check with us before replacing an entire major component.
