Great printer that's built to last

This is a great printer for the home office. It prints at a quick 27 pages per minute for black and white and full color prints. I love a laser printer because you have over 1000 pages of printing before replacing toner cartridges. There's no liquid inks to dry up or clog the nozzles. Colors are crisp and don't run or have dry time. I bought this printer for my college student because it's so much more convenient than using the apartment complex business center or printers on campus. This will be a good investment for the future, because Brother printers last a very long time.

Brother makes a good printer, but they require their own toner cartridges for replacement (they are proficient at detecting and rejecting non-Brother cartridges). The Brother cartridges are crazy expensive though, and sometimes it's easier to junk the printer and replace it with a new one. That may be good economics but is really bad for the environment.
