BLACK+DECKER XL Blast Drink Machine Blender, Red, BL4000R

Although described as an XL Blast Blender on the box it says "Drink Machine". That being said, I could not be happier with this Black & Decker XL Digital Blender. I have not mastered all the digital side but I have made margaritas and a strawberry smoothie to date. It blends well and is easy to operate. I also like the sleek modern style of this blender. It definitely distinguishes itself from the boxy blenders of old. The noise is nowhere near what I have heard in the past from blenders. There is a noise but not loud like before. I am looking forward to making/blending soups to heat up on the stove. I have several recipes that require a blender but have never owned one until now so I am excited to get those old recipes out. Another plus with this blender is the chill sleeve that came with it. The chill sleeve kept our margaritas cold for two and a half hours. I have no doubt that they would have stayed cold a lot longer had we not drank them. This would make a great and thoughtful gift for weddings, Christmas, birthdays, and housewarming parties. I was impressed to see a 72 ounce blending jar which is bigger than usual and can make a lot more quantity of the drinks we love. You will not be disappointed.

This is the last (and best!) blender you will ever buy! This blender is perfect for parties or just for individual use. It comes with an insulated sleeve for keeping your beverages chilled which can be removed if you prefer. There is also a 2 ounce shot glass that stores nicely in the carafe when not needed; it is easily removed when required for measuring out the perfect amount of liquid for your treats! The carafe has easy to read ounce marks imprinted right on the glass. (No more squinting!) This blender will make smoothies, shakes, and your favorite alcoholic beverages without hesitation. If you need to chop ice or hard candies, this is the blender for you! It has heavy duty blades which do an incredible job chopping items to bits! This blender runs very smoothly and is not very loud. This blender looks high-tech and also looks very professional with push buttons that have blue LED lights that illuminate when you turn the machine on. I do wish the unit would not turn off automatically as soon as it does. This would be the one downfall of this unit. When you are finished using the blender, the carafe is easy to clean up. Also, the cord stores nicely in the bottom of the unit. This model also comes with a recipe book for making some very delicious shakes and drinks. I couldn't be happier with this blender. It is definitely worthy of a 5 star review!
