sevin insect killer works very well
The grasshoppers were terrible this year, and we searched for something that would kill them, and discovered the Walmart sevin insect killer. we bought a 10 lb bag and broadcasted it all over our vegetable garden which the grasshoppers had already damaged significantly, especially stripping our cabbage down to skeletal and eating our carrot tops almost to the ground. Within a week we could see grasshoppers dying and being sluggish all over the garden. we treated every week for 3 weeks, and our garden began to recover and we've been able to harvest peas and beans and cabbage, and even were able to salvage the last of the raspberry production.
