Sharp steering, good acceleration

I've done a few autocross days on these tires on my K24 EG hatch. The handling is very precise but the straight line speed is a little bit behind more expensive competitors. The tread life is very good and you should be able to get a full season out of these no problem. They also don't like being cold and need a few laps to start working good. On my EG the car is very oversteer prone with these tires, possibly because it can't ever get enough heat into them. On a hot summer day in Texas they probably do excellent.

Purchased just for the track

When I could no longer find RE71R's I switched to the A052's and when they ran out I switched to the V730's since the RE71RS kept getting delayed. This is my 2nd set of the V730's and I am reasonably happy with them. As sticky as the A052's but don't quite last as long. Both of them were better than the RE71R's. I did have one of my first set start to delaminate but the tire was worn and I think I was not on top of the temperature as I should have been. I will stick with these for now.

Absolutely love these tires!

I have these on my 2011 135i, around 600whp, fully upgraded suspension include spherical bearings everywhere. They warm up quickly have excellent grip going straight and while cornering. So I can use them for both half mile racing and hpde. Compared to my last set of tires, federal fz201m, these have much more grip and are dead on the freeway. I have completed one track day starting with 28psi cold, and the wear was even and very good. Thanks kumho and simple tire!
