The Kumho Road Venture MT71 is a mud terrain tire that's designed for use on Jeeps, light trucks, and SUVs and features an aggressive tread pattern that enhances traction in mud, dirt, rocks, and other off-road terrains. Mud and stone ejectors between the shoulder lugs guard the tire from damage by allowing for self-cleaning, and the Road Venture MT71's rubber compound protects the tire against cuts and chips for a longer tread life.

What Can I say. I have ran BF Goodrich mud terrains for years. They make a lot of noise. Good Traction. But these Kumho MT71's. excel in every way. I have them on an FJ Cruiser and I am hard on tires. Rain, Snow, Rocks, Mud these tires perform. They handle fantastic on the pavement also and they are so so quiet even after you rotate the tires they still as quiet as ever. That is the one thing that you must do is make sure you rotate your tires. I have had my Kumho MT71's 2 years and 30,000 miles. and I still have have the tread left.

I've owned other SUVs and used most brands but found Kumho AT51s great for road tires. Recently I bought a Nissan Safari Y60 and decided to try the Mt71s Best tire I've ever come across. No idea how they made it so quiet. Half the price of BFGoodrich and better off-road tires. I also track cars a lot and Kumho also a top choice. I believe the Kumho is the first Mud Terrain that works like a road tire on the highway. Bravo to their design team and of course the price is right!

Just put these tires on Friday and couldn't resist test them in muddy conditions on Saturday and will say they perform very well. Hit a couple spot that jeeps we're having issues. They are on a 97 ram 1500 with a ranch hand ledgen bumper. There a lot quieter than I was expecting but there not super loud. Can have my radio on 20 and talk normal with the windows down.
