KRAUS Dex 33” Undermount 16 Gauge Stainless Steel Single Bowl Kitchen Sink

We recently replaced the counter-top in our kitchen and took the opportunity to replace the drop-in sink with this beautiful Kraus Dex under-mount. I hadn't come across the Dex models previously and was impressed with their attractive and functional waterway design. Ours is installed with a garbage disposal and we use the included drain covers to hide the otherwise ugly disposal. The sink is much more solid and far quieter than the previous stainless steel sink it replaced. We are also using the optional grids to protect the bottom of the sink as you can see in the photo. We are very pleased with the product.

My husband and I were/are in the process of updating our kitchen. We knew we wanted a single bowl sink. To me they just make sense. How often have you fought with your sink every single time you need to wash a big item like cooking/baking sheets or large pots? We also knew we wanted a quality sink that was going to be tough and hold up to daily use and that wasn't "loud" and "tinny" sounding. This sink far exceeds what we were hoping for. We debated between this sink and a porcelain and we couldn't be happier that we chose this. It is so large that I never have to worry about if I can get enough into it. I'm pretty confident it holds an entire dishwasher full of dishes. The finish on it is exceptional. It has a nice satiny finish that doesn't shine but is certainly not dull. The drain system is so fantastic. When you order you receive all 3 different options. Because it only has the one drain hole we hooked up our new disposer to it and used the cover. It gives it such a nice "finished" look that you don't have to see the ugly black disposer set up. It is super easy to just remove that cover to put your food down the disposer and to clean. I would also recommend ordering the matching grate for the bottom of the sink. The more protection the better! It has a nice rubber sound blocking system on the bottom and sides of the sink. This is definitely a quality sink. You will not be disappointed.
