Nice, clean, white light that's not too bright
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] You know how you want that "just right" white light? Not yellowish, not glaring, definitely NOT fluorescent...this is it! I put one bulb in the lamp on the side table in my bedroom - where you want enough light to read but not enough to make you feel like you're at work - and it's exactly right. The other is in a lamp that sits on top of my piano, and it gives off enough light that I can see to play without having other lights on in the living room, but it doesn't make the room super-bright. It gives kind of an ambiance. It's sort of a soft-ish white, without the "tinge" of CFL bulbs. Definitely will get these again!

Light and soft
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This bulb did not fit in any of my ceiling fans, so I put it in my nightstand light. The lighting is soft and light. I think it works perfect on my nightstand. It is not too powerful and provides just enough light. If you are looking for something that lights up well, this is not the bulb for you. Overall I am very happy with this product.
