The Definitive Edition of an all time classic

Having played all the Dragon Quest titles including XI when it first released, I couldn't wait to play again. This is the best version. I was hesitant at first and wouldn't pay $60. But at this price it's perfect. The orchestral sound is worth the price. Seeing all four party members run around is lots of fun. And the 2D mode is a throwback for older gamers like myself. Teach your kids what gaming was like in the olden days! What I didn't know was the added content. There are character episodes (haven't reached that far yet) and added missions in 2D. These take you back to previous games and are a perfect tip of the cap to series veterans. I passed on full price and you did as well. Don't pass it up now. With all the additions, lower price, and PS4 Pro support, its the perfect time to revisit Dragon Quest.

The game is awesome - it's taking me back to DQ8 on PS2 in the best of ways. I really wanted a physical copy and Walmart was the best vendor when I ordered the game; believe it or not, they were able to get this title to me more quickly than video game retailers or the Big A Prime.
