Rugged 8 outlet surge protection

I recently got this surge protector and installed it on my garage wall to power and protect my bank of battery charger/maintainers. It mounted easily with two screw anchors and plugged into the nearby outlet, with the excess cord neatly wrapped around the unit. I like the lighted on/off rocker switch, the led indicator for surge protection and the fact that Tripp-Lite will replace the unit if that led ever fails to light.

Every outlet in my house is protected by surge protection and I've never lost a piece of equipment, but have had the protectors damaged without further damage.
